"Recently I’ve been fascinated by the masks that people wear, the images of themselves that they present to the world about who they are.  I’ve become obsessed with wanting to pull back this surface layer and discover the real depth of people.  To uncover our common humanity.
Because to me, the bits we’re all ashamed of are often the most beautiful.

It’s my belief that we’ve been conned into playing the game too well.  We’re too caught up in the rat race that we’ve become blind to what’s happening - to society and to ourselves.

We need to journey down the rabbit hole, into ourselves and our internal realities.
What parts of ourselves are we hiding? And why?

Have we locked away our hearts, for fear of getting hurt?

Are we listening to the wrong voices in our heads?

Are we scared to be vulnerable? To show weakness?

The truth is, vulnerability is not weakness.  It’s courage.  To be vulnerable is to take an emotional risk.  It’s to be creative.  It’s to dare to try.
Vulnerability is to not be what people want and expect of you.  It’s to not be perfect, but to be yourself, and all the colour that comes along with that.

We’ve got to discover these seeds of self, and nurture them and allow them to grow.  Only then can we hope to live meaningful lives and to find our way back to each other."
